Stammer – Rehearsals for Important Statement 2009

This project is based on a multi-screen video that examines the concept of textual structure and narrative analysis through a large collection of recorded performances, recited and written texts in rehearsals that take different forms each time. It combines the analysis of the textual structure as combinations with definite mathematical systems and the structure of context and meaning. The work is introduced through a critical idea where the artist himself tries to represent it through his chalk drawings, which often come out in furious attempts, directed towards a reading of a statement that clarifies his critical stand of ideas of cultural and artistic mass marketing under the label of exotic products.
